I am an aspiring Broadcast Journalist, with an interest in presenting and human interest stories. I have covered stories of local, national and international relevance, including issues concerning local communities, the UK general election, and the US election. I have developed my technical and social skills greatly whilst at university, creating contacts and building my knowledge on industry used software, such as ENPS, INEWS, and Adobe platforms. I am currently working towards my BJTC accreditation, and have so far passed all current necessary law exams. I am knowledgable in the Ofcom, IPSO and IMPRESS codes of conduct. I have completed many out-of-uni work placements, including the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV News. After university I hope to become a broadcast presenter, or become a journalist and work on local human interest stories in particular neighbourhoods.
